Bad Company Racing LLCSouthern Indiana · Built to be driven
The car behind the name

Saved from the junkyard.

A 1999 C5 Corvette that became the foundation for Bad Company Racing—and a real street car with a reason to keep getting better.

The beginning

Not a showpiece.

This C5 did not begin as a polished race program. It was saved from the junkyard and rebuilt one decision, one part, and one long night at a time.

Today it is still meant to do the part that matters: drive to the track, make the pass, and drive home. That is the standard behind every change to the car.

The platform

Built to be driven.

1999 C5 Corvette

A fixed-headlight coupe with the stock chassis still doing the job it was never supposed to do.

Turbocharged E85

A heavily modified LS combination built around careful development, repeatable passes, and real street miles.

4L60E focus

The transmission people like to write off is part of the point: keep refining it and prove what the platform can do.

The target

Raise the bar.

Bad Company Racing is pursuing the fastest stock-chassis 4L60E Corvette record while keeping the car true to the thing that made the project matter in the first place: it is driven, not hidden.

Every pass is part of the learning curve. Every partner who comes aboard becomes part of the story.

More than the car

Built to give back.

The attention around the car helps carry a bigger mission. See how Drive to Survive Racing supports service-dog work for veterans and first responders.
